Grew up in a small farming community of 500 people in NJ.  Attended the local Methodist Church from a very early age and was involved with the choir program through my teenage years.  It was also where I had my first organ lessons.  Following this and high school, it was my life's desire to be involved with organ work and as a result spend 10 years as an apprentice, first working in Princeton, NJ followed by employment with the Tellers Organ Co. in Erie PA with installation and sales.  This was followed by five years with the firm of M P Moller in Hagerstown, MD working out of their New York and Philadelphia offices in installation and service work.  During this time, I also pursued additional organ study with two individual organ teachers and attended numerous workshops involving choral studies.

My first organ playing job was with the First United Methodist Church of Freehold, NJ then with the Comminity Church (UCC) in Holmdel, NJ and finally with St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Freehold where I spent 12 years as organist and choir director.  Following a move toGalloway, NJ I became Organist/Choir Director of St. Mark and All Saints Episcopal Church and then after three years, moved to Arizona 13 years ago.

I am married to my wife, Wendy, and have two grown children, Jennifer and James, who reside in NJ with their families.

Some of the Presbyterian Churches where I was organ curator include Crescent Ave. Presbyterian Church in Plainfield NJ, Westside Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood NJ, Old First in Newark NJ, First Presbyterian Church in New York NY, and Riverside Church in New York NY.  Presbyterian Churches in Arizona include First Presbyterin Church of Mesa and, most recently, Covenant Presbyterian in Bisbee.  I am a member of the American Institute of Organ Buildlers, the Central Arizona Chapter American Guild of Organists, and St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Chandler.
